Native乐队是由队长Tomoyoshi Nakamura(高音、低音、萨克斯手和长笛手)与Taichi Sugimaru(大钢琴手,电钢琴手)，Kenichi Ohkubo(贝手) 和Yuichi Fukaya(鼓手)组成的四人乐队，乐队所有成员均来自于日本。

Native is a four-piece jazz group lead by Tomoyoshi Nakamura (Tenor, Alto & Soprano Saxophone, Flute) with other members Taichi Sugimaru (Acoustic Piano, Fender Rhodes),Kenichi Ohkubo (Acoustic Bass) and Yuichi Fukaya (Drums) all from Nagoya, Japan. They were formed in 1999 starting their career on the street. Since then,they have played numerous shows throughout Japan traveling by their own car. Performing live is still what they value the most. For some years, they played nearly 100 gigs a year. After self-publishing 2 albums, they have released many albums from various labels in Japan including their best hit album "Just Four" released in 2008 by Nature Bliss Inc. Their latest album is "Going with the Flow" which counts as their 9th album released in October 2011. This is probably their most colorful album ever, showcasing their diverse talent from the dynamic dance-floor tune to heartwarming ballad songs. At the same time, they are also capturing fans worldwide. In 2007, they made their worldwide debut with the "Prussian Blue EP" and "Prussian Blue" full-album on the German Infracom! label, and also accomplished a successful show in Frankfurt, Germany.They also played in Taipei, Taiwan for over 10 days in a row. In 2010, they have released the album "Possibility" from the prestigious UK label Arision which was later licensed by a Japanese record company.Through these continuos efforts, they have already established themselves in the Japanese “nu-jazz” scene as the pioneer.Their combination of cool acoustic Jazz and the distinctive groove makes their sound so special receiving wide attention from both jazz and the club scene.
