　　In this new trio, Jean-Christophe Cholet meets (again) Gildas Boclé (cb) and Quentin Cholet (dr). Clearly willing to explore a new path for his music, the pianist chooses here to lead his creation to a more modernist artistic line, influenced by this intergenerational encounter.The three musicians have known each other for quite a while. Jean-Christophe was very much looking forward to making concrete his collaboration with Gildas and to joining it to the complicity that links him to Quentin. They are given the opportunity to exchange their musics and to create their own sound combining tradition, collective and InitiativeS. And also the opportunity for Jean-Christophe Cholet's now well identified compositional lines to cross the Berlin cultural influence. More than just a rhythm section accompanying a pianist, it's a real commitment to three. Written compositions and improvised moments will find a balance and leave a genuine space for expression open to each one.
