中国--金陵龙世界音乐乐队是由被誉为用中国传统乐器在世界各地演奏爵士音乐第一人的著名二胡演奏家董金明和他的搭档著名扬琴演奏家、教育家周黛瑜女士于2007年在南京创建的。该乐队是我国目前为数不多在保留和传承并挖掘整理把中外优秀的民族民间音乐改编加入爵士音乐、布鲁斯音乐、轻摇滚以及吉普塞等世界各地优秀音乐元素进行跨界演奏的一支东西方融合乐队。乐队成员包括活跃在江苏流行音乐舞台的吉他演奏家殷志刚、爵士鼓演奏家杨巍、键盘手冯超以及贝司手李阳均是我省年轻并具前卫的演奏家。
每年乐队还特别邀请来自德国、加拿大等国家的爵士音乐家加盟，该乐队曾应邀参加了2007年6月在加拿大温哥华的国际爵士音乐节和10月在南京由德国和中国政府共同举办的“德国大道”系列音乐活动的演出。2009年11月-12月应邀参加了在德国莱比锡国际爵士音乐节和汉堡音乐节的演出, 在专场音乐会上他们为近万名观众献演了经过改编的中外优秀的民族音乐和爵士音乐，受到了热烈欢迎。2010年和2011年在日本东京、大阪等地演出取得巨大成功。2011年6月24日—7月2日董金明再次应邀参加了在加拿大温哥华举办的温哥华国际爵士音乐节的演出，2012年7月和11月乐队再次应邀参加了德国哥廷根、莱比锡国际爵士音乐节演出大获成功收到好评。2014年11月乐队再次应邀赴德国的汉诺威、法兰克福、莱比锡、哥廷根等市参加国际音乐节的演出活动。现在，该乐队在保留演奏把中外优秀的民族民间音乐改编爵士音乐和布鲁斯音乐外，还挖掘整理了部分优秀的吉普塞音乐并将其融入爵士音乐的风格。2011年乐队录制了首张CD。

Jinling Dragon World Music Band China is established in 2007 in Nanjing by famous Erhu player and Music Director of Nanjing international jazz Music Festival Mr. Dong Jinming who was known as the first person playing Jazz music with traditional Chinese musical instrument around the world and his partner, well-known Yangqin player and educator Miss Zhou Daiyu. Many excellent musicians are its members, such as young jazz pianist who is active in Jiangsu pop music stages, young saxophonist , the winner of National Youth saxophone playing contest and other young double bass players. Every year, the band invite some good Jazz Musicians from Germany、Canada etc. they have been specially invited to join the band. The band has been invited to play at the Canada's International Jazz Festival in Vancouver in June, 2007 and for the " Germany Avenue ", a series of communication activities co-organized by Germany and Chinese governments in October,2007 in Nanjing. From 25th November to 7th December 2009 The band has been invited to play at the international Jazz Festival of Leipzig and Hamburg. At some concerts of that activities, the band played wonderful revised folk and jazz music of China and foreign countries for thousands of thousands audience who spoke highly of their performance.2010 and 2011 the band had performance in Tokyo ,Osaka of Japan got big successful. 2011, 24th June—2nd July Dong jinming has invited again to play at the international Jazz Festival of Vancouver. July and November 2012 the band once again invited to participate in Göttingen, Leipzig International Jazz Festival a great success received praise.
4th –16th November 2014,The band invited to participate in Frankfurt Hannover、Leipzig、Göttingen, International music Festival a great success received praise.
Now, besides playing the adapted version of jazz and blues music from popular folk music in and abroad, the band has also digged out and worked up some Gypsy music and integrate them into styles of jazz music. the band has first record him CD on June.2011
