　Grant Simpson leads this band of versatile eclectic musicians from Canada's far North. Simpson is a veteran musician, composer, arranger and pianist who has performed in many countries around the world concerts and music festivals both as a soloist and with bands in collaboration with some of Canada’s leading musicians. On Jazz Violin is Keitha Clarke who plays a wide variety of music and specializes in authentic first nations fiddle music from the Northern Communities of the Circumpolar North. Kate Weekes is an award-winning vocalist, guitarist and songwriter of International fame and is noted for her songs about the Canadian landscape.Duncan Sinclair is on the Yukon’s busiest saxophonists. Sinclair started his career as a classical clarinet player and then began playing jazz shortly after. Rocky (Rob) Bergman is known for his swinging lines and feel and is one of the Yukon’s most in-demand upright bassists.The band performs the music in the style of the swing and bebop improvisers Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Charley Parker, Billie Holliday, Lester Young, Stephan Grapelli, Dave McKenna, Jelly Roll Morton and many others.
